Who defines whether a person is successful or a failure?
My answer is this…No ONE!
Nobody can judge anyone on the amount of success they have or have not accomplished in their life.
It seems nowadays success is measured by the amount of degrees you have under your name, but true success does not lie only in what is accomplished on paper that was signed off by some institution.
True success comes from being able to say that you are happy, that you have tried and failed, that throughout your lifetime you have been vulnerable and within yourself being vulnerable you accepted your flaws and imperfections for what it was.
Success cannot be measured only by the wins, but also by the amount of losses that you have accumulated.
So it is unfair to say someone is not successful because they do not measure to your definition of success.
Majority of time we are indeed judged based on the amount of book sense we have and the amount of accomplishments we have gathered, but please do not allow that judgment to consume your mind and your thoughts on what success is.
As the novelist J.K. Rowling said, “It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all- in which case, you fail by default.”
Make your own path and set your own rules.
