Always Eat After 7PM: Part 3.

Hi guys! I hope you are having a beautiful day and week! Here is part 3!

Have you been eating healthier during this quarantine? I have! If you have been following my blog series, you’ll know that this is my third post about the diet book, “Always Eat After 7PM”. I have been doing a series to help with my personal goal of gaining more energy and this book has some helpful tips to help me to be successful.

This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions and thoughts expressed below are my own.

Goal: Gain More ENERGY

I wanted to share one thing I have accomplished and tried to help me with gaining more energy from the book.

Intermittent Fasting

This is also known as time restricted feeding, “IF” is a pattern of food consumption that cycles between fasting and eating in specific time periods. There are various ways to do it; one of the most common is the 16/8 protocol, which involves 16 hours of fasting—typically done overnight—with an 8-hour window in which to eat each day.

If you’re like me and you’ve tried regular fasting for whatever reason, you know that within that time period you stay away from eating. This was a bit difficult for me, but I still managed to push through. The time period for eating was a 16 hour window. Sounds bananas, but take it like this… if you eat your last meal at 6pm, then the next meal the next day will be 10am. Not bad for me, seeing that’s my regular waking up hours! On a regular work day, skipping breakfast never phased me so I wasn’t worried to try this.

Going without breakfast is part of intermittent fasting (IF), also called time-restricted feeding (TRF). IF is a pattern of food consumption that cycles between fasting and eating in specific time periods. There are various ways to do it; one of the most common is the 16/8 protocol, which involves 16 hours of fasting—typically done overnight—with an 8-hour window in which to eat each day.

The benefits and results of it was longevity and anti-aging, younger clearer skin and an increased level in having more daily energy.

What I’m loving about the book?

One thing I love about the book is that it breaks down the simplest things for you and educates you. For example it had a section for “3-minute burning morning ritual”, which I found to be so interesting. It discussed and educated me on lemon water and it’s benefits. It stated, “This drink provides all the benefits of regular drinking water, which supports weight loss, digestive health, physical performance, and cognitive function. You want to be sure you’re getting enough water, and mixing in some lemon juice can indeed provide a flavorful alternative to plain water, with only a negligible addition of calories and natural sugar.” I found this information so helpful and decided to implement this into my routine as well.

I hope that this post was helpful and thank you for following along on this journey with me!
